What the Nemesis is for.
The Nemesis is the PHC’s published long-range anti-tank specialist. Stardock lists its role as “Sniper, Range” and describes it as a long-range anti-tank ground unit; the faction showcase also calls it a tank killer.
Its 900 health is below the Commander and far below the Hyperion, which makes the Nemesis a damage platform rather than a brawler. The 50-damage figure is the single value published in the February 2026 faction reveal; it should not be treated as final balance for the launch build.
How to use it
- Keep it behind a line of Brutes or other durable PHC units so it can use its range without being focused first.
- Point it at expensive armour, dreadnoughts or other priority ground targets rather than letting it trade shots with cheap swarm units.
- Pair it with anti-air and repair support: the Nemesis has no published answer to being flanked or bombed.
How to answer it
- Close the distance with fast units or pressure it from a different axis; a long-range unit that is forced to reposition loses firing time.
- Use artillery, air or a wide flank if the Nemesis is screened by a static front line.
- Force the PHC to spend repair attention on a fragile unit instead of its centerpiece.
What we still do not know
- Exact rate of fire, range, armour type and launch-build cost are not published by the sources used for this dossier.
- The 900 health / 50 damage values come from a February 2026 reveal and may change before release.
