The Post-Human Coalition is the faction of uploaded humans who left biological bodies behind and built a military out of constructs. Its battlefield identity is expensive, armoured and hard-hitting: fewer units, stronger individual platforms and a repair-and-attrition game rather than a swarm.

The PHC is also the faction most directly scarred by the split from Haalee. Its technology still carries her influence, but the Coalition has adjusted its weapon systems and units while treating the Substrate as an existential rival.

01

Quality over quantity

PHC units are generally more expensive and more powerful than their UEF equivalents. The faction does not field infantry; its basic line unit is the Brute light tank. Every loss therefore matters more.

02

Armour and repair

Stardock identifies armour, repair and brute force as the PHC’s core battlefield strengths. Keeping damaged constructs alive changes the value of every engagement.

03

Centerpiece warfare

Units such as the Hyperion aerial dreadnought and Nemesis tank killer can define fights. The challenge is protecting those investments rather than feeding them into a bad angle.

How to play

Make the PHC rhythm work.

A practical starting framework for Post-Human Coalition, based on confirmed mechanics and the faction’s stated design intent.

Step 01

Keep the army together

Expensive units are easiest to pick off when isolated. PHC armies should move as a formation, with repair support and escorts close enough to help before a fight becomes a rout.

Step 02

Use range as protection

The Nemesis is a long-range anti-tank sniper. It is not a substitute for a front line; it is the weapon that punishes enemy armour once the front line has fixed it in place.

Step 03

Make the dreadnought count

The Hyperion is an aerial anti-ground dreadnought with published health and damage far above line units. Bring it when it can influence the decisive fight, not simply because it exists.

Step 04

Respect swarms

Numerical factions can trade several cheap units for one PHC asset and come out ahead. Use area damage, positioning and repair to deny that exchange.

Strengths

  • High per-unit durability and firepower
  • Repair and defensive tools support long engagements
  • Powerful specialist and centerpiece units
  • Clear, readable armour-and-quality identity

Tradeoffs

  • High unit cost makes each loss expensive
  • No infantry; vulnerable to being swarmed at vulnerable angles
  • Fewer bodies means less map coverage and less room for unescorted pushes

Named platforms

What we can name.

The launch roster is larger than the units Stardock has revealed. This list tracks confirmed names and roles; absence from this page is not evidence that a unit will not appear at launch.

Lore file

Who they are.

Official lore ↗

The PHC began as a small group of elites who used artificial general intelligence to uplift their consciousness into a virtual world. Their power is tied to Turinium, a manufactured computation material that underpins their expansion.

The Coalition is not a single government. The official lore describes it as a collection of individuals and factions with their own ambitions. The unauthorized conversion of the Moon into Turinium triggered the political crisis that created the UEF.
